Pro Tip: Take any of our smoothie recipes and add a handful of spinach and/ or kale to it for a variety of green flavors
A refreshing summer taste with the added benefits of super greens!
- small handful of spinach
- small handful of baby kale
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 C kiwi, frozen
- 2 T flaxseed meal
- 1/4 C pineapple juice
- 1/2 C milk, nondairy or dairy
Blend together all ingredients
Transfer to bowl or cup.
The cool thing about smoothie bowls is you can make them for dessert (or any time) instead of ice cream as well!
Depending on your blender, you may have to add more liquid or you may be able to add less. Experiment ?
If you don't have frozen banana, you can use fresh and use greek yogurt instead of milk. (my favorite way)
