It’s no secret that Mia and I LIVE by peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
So of course we have to make a smoothie version!
The cool thing about smoothie bowls is you can make them for dessert (or any time) instead of ice cream as well!
Depending on your blender, you may have to add more liquid or you may be able to add less. Experiment ?
If you don't have frozen banana, you can use fresh and use greek yogurt instead of milk. (my favorite way)
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 C berries, frozen, i.e. strawberry, raspberry, or blueberry
- 2 T nut or seed butter
- 2 T flaxseed meal
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1/2 C milk, nondairy or dairy
Blend together all ingredients
Transfer to bowl or cup.
Tip: top with peanuts and berries
