Cheescake is part of a balanced diet… right?

So I love to bake. Anything and everything. Buut I don’t very often because I will eat ALL of it. Anyone else have this problem?

Well for my birthday, I wanted to bake a cheesecake (I was going to end up eating a baked good of some sort so I might as well take the advantage to bake). I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out since we recently moved to a new house which means a new oven that I never used, therefore, I don’t know what quirks it has.

It seriously turned out to be the best cheesecake I have ever made. No cracks, no sinking, the sponge crust stayed perfect, not overbaked or underbaked. Picture-perfect. And it tasted amazing too.

I’m quite proud of myself for not eating all of it  haha.

I decided to share this recipe I got from my grandmother’s cookbook collection.
